In Denver Colorado, Bob Barr, former Congressman from Georgia, was nominated as the Libertarian Presidential Candidate. Along with Wayne Allyn Root as the Vice Presidential Candidate, they will be campaigning across the country to bring Libertarian ideas into the Mainstream. Go get em Bob!

03/11/08 | Settled in!
Austin Petersen has been hired as the new
Volunteer and Affiliates Coordinator for the Libertarian Party. Petersen
will be filling the role as a national coordinator of libertarian volunteers
and activists. Additionally, he will be working closely with state
affiliates from across the nation in order to improve their capabilities as
a state Libertarian Party.
Previously from New York City, Petersen has spent the last four years
producing, performing, writing and directing various productions in the NYC
area, which have appeared in Time Magazine and on the Discovery Channel.
While in New York, Peterson was a volunteer coordinator for the NYC Ron Paul
Meetup group, and used his audio/visual skills to promote the freedom
movement both locally and nationally. Petersen was also an instrumental
force in coordinating the efforts for the LP’s BallotBase operations when it
was tested leading up to the New Hampshire presidential primary last year.
Peterson attended Southwest Missouri State University (now MSU),
acquiring a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre. He was h

Hello everyone! As of yesterday I have accepted a position with the Libertarian National Committee in Washington D.C. I will be moving there soon to work for the cause of Liberty in this country in this difficult time. As we face a possible recession, and loss of civil liberties at home, it is important that in this election year that all Americans work together to make the crucial decisions about who will elect us in Congress and in the White House. I hope everyone will take these decisions seriously and get involved in their local precincts. I will still be creatively producing, but will be doing so in a different vein. In the future this website will be redesigned to reflect more accurately my current work in National Politics. Thank you everyone for your support and your continued interest in my career.

Auditions have been announced for my TV Show Pilot, "Effervesce: The Band". I am writing, producing, and directing a pilot of a television show to be entered in the New York Television Festival. First prize will win a six episode development deal and 100,000 dollars. Wish me luck!

After the formulation of a business plan, I approached Venture Capital funds with "The Exiles" project and have begun negotiations for my first multimillion dollar motion picture deal.
